It’s easy to write about something you know, and especially about something you love. My first book, tentatively titled Fool me Once, is set in beautiful Big South Fork National Park, “The Trailriding Capital of the Southeast.” It’s in the first round of edits and, in the meantime, I’m working on the follow-on, tentatively titled A Bitter Wind Blows.
Tennessee and Kentucky have the most wildflowers of any state and it is such a joy for riders to see them along the way. Needless to say, my main characters RIDE. Late spring is especially lovely, with mountain laurel blooming on both sides of the trail.
