Wrecked Lead RopeNo kidding! The horse is tied to the trailer, something startles the horse, the horse pulls back and the lead rope shreds.

Now the horse is loose at the trailhead and..guess what…he’s hard to catch! That’s the situation Asha Hamilton, disgraced former Olympic event rider and present-day riding instructor, finds herself in when a horse with some “baggage” that she’s been working with breaks away and refuses to be caught.

That scene will take place in Book 3, Signs of Life. Readers find a mention of Asha in Book 1, Fool Me Once, meet her in Book 2, A Bitter Wind Blows, and will enjoy her as a main character in the upcoming “next book.”

The third book and fourth books are in the queue. The fifth is now the current work-in-progress.
