You Broke My Heart

Broken HeartBut…guess what…it’s not going to stay broken!

In Book 1, Fool Me Once, Ronnie Chandler falls madly in love with Evan Parker and they live happily ever after. Until they don’t. She moves halfway across the country, vows never to see him again and creates a new life for herself with new best friends and colleagues, Rickie Ahlers and Andee Barton. Also…handsome, charismatic, kind kindred spirit, Luc Deschaines.

In Book 2, A Bitter Wind Blows, it’s not a love interest who breaks Ronnie’s heart, it’s her trusted soul mate…best friend, next-door neighbor and best riding buddy ever…Mindy Morrison-Myers. Mindy screws things up and blows it big time; when she thinks she can give Ronnie a little gift, apologize and have things go back to they way they were…well, Ronnie’s not having any of that!

And in Book 3, Signs of Life, readers learn why identical twins, Asha and Alix Hamilton, are mortal enemies. Alix betrayed Asha in the worst possible way…and she continues to wreak havoc into Book 3. Asha will never forgive Alix for the ultimate betrayal…and neither will several others who’ve seen her true colors along the way!

In Book 4, Ride A Pale Horse, it’s not a betrayal as much as a bitter disappointment and, this time, it’s between father, Luc Deschaines, and his only daughter, Stephanie.
